11. Try 75 new recipes (38-48/75)

Since it's been awhile since I have blogged I'm just going to post the links to each of the recipes below.

Doughnut Muffins: SO GOOOD!!! I think I ate 10 of the 12 that it made.
Chicken and Cheese Lasagna Rolls: Easy and delicious
Magleby's Rolls: Tasty! Again, I ate most of them ;)
Crumb Coated Cube Steaks: So, so. I've had better.
Chicken Marsala: This was alright. Too time consuming for the end product (you can get the seasoning card in the spice aisle at the grocery store)
Beet Chips: These would've been better had I used a food dehydrator or deep fried them! The flavor was good I just couldn't get them crisp enough.
Nutella No-Bake Cookies: Wow! Ryan and I really liked these. I took them to a MNO and the ladies that tried them liked them!
Asian Sesame Salmon: I messed this up. Overcooked it. Too dry. Ryan ate a good bit of it though.(again, you can get this seasoning card at the grocery store)
Stuffed Sweet Potatoes: I liked this. I think Jimmy would've rather eaten something else. 367 calories!
Chicken Gyros: Time consuming. I cut the chicken up before I put it in the marinate and I wish I had left it whole and grilled it.
Quinoa Tabboulleh Salad: I've had better taboulleh but this was good with the quinoa

Christmas!!

I hope you all had a verry Merry Christmas! We sure did! It's so fun watching the kids open their gifts and get excited. Lucas just wanted to eat all the paper. But Ryan was really enjoying himself!

This is the picture we used on our Christmas Card. It took 2 hours to get a halfway decent shot. Ryan was not having the photo session - AT ALL!! Finally he insisted on sitting in a basket. I didn't care if he wanted to stand on his head as long as he wasn't crying!

I love this shot of Lucas by the tree.

On Christmas Eve we went to the service at the church up the road. We sang Christmas hymns and they had the children do a song with hand bells. It was so sweet.

We came home and made some sugar cookies and decorated them.

I don't know what it is but Ryan likes to put everything in one spot. Even when he makes pizza the cheese, pepperoni, olives, tomatoes and whatever else will be in a big pile in the middle. He likes to "spinkle" but only in one place.

Yum!!

We have continued one of Jimmy's family traditions of opening one gift on Christmas Eve. The gift is always new pajamas to wear for Christmas morning.

After the kids went to bed Santa came... He brought Ryan a kitchen and tools that he asked for and he brought Lucas a learning table.

Hello 6 a.m... Ryan could see the kitchen from the top of the stairs. I just realized when I was adding the photos that Ryan was holding Lucas' hand. My boys are the sweetest!

Ryan sprinted across the room to his new kitchen.

But then just wanted the bow. Go figure.

Lucas was loving his new table. We took the legs off for floor play until he gets a little more stable standing. We didn't want it to turn into a "walker" on him.

Ryan saw that Santa ate the cookies he left out for him and had written him a note. We also put carrots out (the bunny ate them).

We are so blessed, not only for having a wonderful family and awesome friends, but for the ultimate gift - Jesus Christ.
